How far in advance should I book Christmas light installation in Tampa Bay?
Design consultations and installation calendars fill quickly beginning in September. Estate homes with larger rooflines or detailed designs should book by early October to guarantee placement before Thanksgiving.
What happens during the design consultation?
An in-home or virtual walkthrough of your home's architecture, followed by a custom lighting plan and firm pricing before any commitment. There's no cost or obligation to move forward.
Can you match a design I've seen or bring a photo for reference?
Yes. The design consultation is built around your preferences, including photos or reference designs you'd like to bring to the conversation.
Signature Christmas Lighting
Does the lighting stay up year-round?
No. Like all of our seasonal services, Signature Christmas Lighting is professionally installed ahead of the holidays and fully removed afterward. Nothing is left on the roof year-round.
How is Signature Lighting different from Custom Christmas Light Installation?
Signature Christmas Lighting includes a dedicated senior designer, hand-mapped architectural detail, priority scheduling, and a saved design plan that's refined each year — built for larger, more detailed rooflines than our standard seasonal service.
How long does installation take?
Most estate homes are completed in one to two full working days, depending on roofline length and architectural detail. Installation is scheduled around your calendar and doesn't require you to be home.
Will installation damage the roof or trim?
No. Fixtures are secured with clip-based mounting systems designed to avoid nails, staples, and roof penetration, protecting trim and gutter lines.
What happens if a section goes out mid-season?
If anything goes out, just let us know and we'll come back to diagnose and repair it promptly under the service agreement, at no additional charge.
Seasonal Installation
Is someone on the roof of my home during installation?
Yes, our installers do get on the roof when needed. We use professional-grade equipment and clip-based mounting systems designed to avoid roof damage, so nothing is nailed, stapled, or permanently altered.
What type of lights are used?
Commercial-grade C9, C7, or mini LED lighting is selected based on your home's architecture and desired look, in warm white, a custom color palette, or a blend.
Will installation damage my roof, gutters, or landscaping?
No. Lighting is secured using clip-based mounting systems designed to avoid nails, staples, and roof penetration, and landscape lighting is placed to avoid disturbing root systems or irrigation.
Do you offer maintenance if a strand goes out mid-season?
Yes. If a strand or section ever goes out, just let us know and we'll come back to repair it at no additional charge under the service agreement.
Takedown, Storage & Maintenance
Do you take down lights you didn't install?
Yes. Takedown and storage service is available for existing displays regardless of who installed them, following a quick assessment of the current setup.
What happens to the lights during storage?
Fixtures are coiled, inspected, and labeled before being placed into storage, then checked again the following season before reinstallation.
How soon after the holidays is takedown scheduled?
Takedown appointments are scheduled throughout January, based on the removal calendar and any HOA guidelines on display timing in your community.
